Whats Your Angle?

I have been teaching my film students about angles and how shooting from different positions change the feel/mood of the shot. I do most of my shooting by what I feel, not with any particular technique in mind. However, when I saw this stone, I decided to play with the angles. A cemetery headstone is not something that normally would have any strength or power.

Stop Motion

It is that time of year again that my students are learning stop motion animation.

My classroom is a buzz with stories that the students are creating. They are beginning to work together to choose one story to produce. Some students who have appeared to go through the motions of school, are waking up and coming alive with ideas. It is pretty exciting!

Welcome 2010-2011

The 2010-2011 school year has been in full swing for a week! Students are trying to learn their schedules and get all their forms signed, while teachers try to learn everyone's names and remain organized!

Clay Animation

Last year, I attended PET&C. It is a technology conference in PA for teachers. I came home with a wealth of knowledge and ideas. One being a clay animation project for my students! Last year, the students enjoyed it!
